The Last Shooting

Many Republican politicians consistently enact and defend policies that prioritize the firearms industry over public safety, effectively supporting the proliferation of gun violence. This dynamic is fueled by a system where defense corporations, like Raytheon, and gun manufacturers profit massively from weapons sales, the militarization of domestic society, and taxpayer-funded global conflicts. These same corporations then channel funds back to politicians who protect their interests. Furthermore, the pervasive fear generated by this constant threat of violence is often utilized to justify the suppression of civil liberties and the expansion of the surveillance state.
